Information is available since the return of an arrest warrant that Katie Smith of Paton has been charged with violation of a no contact order and false report to public entity. The warrant was issued July 25 and served Sept. 19.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Christopher Herbert Lawrence of Ames, criminal mischief- fifth degree; and Danielle Lynn Schofield of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree.
